Start your taekwondo journey! This class is for our new Taekwondo students. In Korean, 'tae' means to strike or break with foot, 'kwon' means to strike or break with fist, and 'do' means way, method, or path. Thus, taekwondo is translated as "the way of the hand and the foot." Learn the basic techniques and traditions of taekwondo with 5th degree black belt Master Troy Vink while incorporating self-defense, discipline, confidence, and respect for others! Price includes all classes through end of session. Additional cost for optional uniform and belt testing as belt progression takes place. Payable to instructor at class. COVID-19 details: Instructor requires masks to and from class. Spectators not allowed during session (students only). Open to ages 5 and up (age 5-7 with parent present).
