The Familyfest Fun Cruise is back for a third year! You will want to stay tuned to the Familyfest Facebook and Instagram pages and subscribe to our newsletter to stay up to date with all the fun happening as we lead up to the main event on Saturday, July 23rd from 9am – 2pm. 

What is the Familyfest Fun Cruise? 

The Familyfest Fun Cruise was created in 2020 as a new way for families to explore all that our amazing community has to offer for families! From 9am-2pm on July 23rd, families can spend the day together cruising to area businesses and organizations to participate in activities, enter to win prizes, and get some deals! 

Does our family have to cruise to all of the locations listed? 

No! Your family can go to as many or as few stops as you would like and in any order! Many families will start at Stop #1 (Sanford Wellness Center on Oxbow) to receive their FREE swag bags (to the first 500 families, 1 per family) and then head to the stops that interest your family! You are in control of your family’s cruising experience!  

Wait, did you say Sanford Wellness Center? 

Yes, the first two years of the cruise, our main stop was at the Sanford on 69th and Louise. Due to road construction, we’ve moved this to the Sanford Wellness Center. We will not have the drive-through swag bag option this year. In addition, Sanford is also having a stop at their Bridges location, but swag bags will not be available there. 

How do I know what stops might fit our family?

What is the cost of the Familyfest Fun Cruise? Absolutely nothing! It’s true! The Familyfest Fun 

Cruise is completely free for all families participating. Some stops may have additional items/services available for purchase, but there is no purchase required to visit each stop. 

That’s a pretty fancy unicorn I see on the Familyfest Fun Cruise marketing! Who is that? 

Fancy is the super amazing Familyfest mascot. She likes to travel around the Sioux Empire and meet as many friends as possible every year! She will be out cruising our community during the month of July to get excited for the Fun Cruise this year! If you see her, come say hi & take some pictures! She absolutely loves hugs from kids!  

What is the Familyfest Fun Cruise Digital Passport? 

At each stop location, there will be a QR Code for your family to scan. When you scan the code, you will be asked to enter your name, email and answer a question about that stop. Every time you scan a different QR Code and answer the question, you will earn one entry into our Familyfest Fun Cruise drawings for hundreds of dollars in prizes! Don’t forget you earn one entry each time you scan a new QR code at each location and answer the question, so have fun cruising to as many stops as you can!
