February is the month to celebrate heart health awareness. We talked to one dad as he shared the heart health journey of him and his daughter. Speaking of hearts, we didn’t forget Valentine’s Day. We have some fun crafts and snacks in the issue and on our website at thehoodmagazine.com.
Let’s talk about dating! If you don’t have time for a date night out, check out our ideas for date night in. Whether you do something big or small, make sure you take time for just the two of you this month. Do you have a teen that is going to start dating? We have some ideas and tips from local parents of things to keep in mind as you navigate this new season. I am thankful Jaxson and Khloe aren’t to the dating age, but it will be here before I know it. I will make sure to keep these in mind – even for hanging with friends.
