As an Office Manager, you will organize and coordinate office administration and procedures in order to ensure organizational effectiveness and efficiency. You will be responsible for intra-office communication, streamlining administrative procedures, client contracts, and task delegation. You are an energetic professional who loves wearing multiple hats and has the ability to work independently with little supervision. You are well organized, flexible, excellent grammar skills and enjoy the challenges of maintaining a well-functioning business.

●       Schedule client meetings and manage Steff’s Schedule

●       Make sure all print and digital pieces are ready for social media, designer, website

●       Manage and file contracts on ad report and google docs

●       Manage and respond to incoming emails in a timely and on-brand manner

●       Update Google Docs with information about clients when emails were sent or new information about a client or new client

●       Send thank you notes out to clients for meeting with us or working with us

●       Help coordinate issues with listings (Birthday, Summer Camps, Holiday Gift Guide) to make sure they are accounted

●       Prepare things for Familyfest website for the designer to change and get ready

●       Manage customer relations & contract requirements for ‘Hood and Familyfest

●       Communicate with the ‘Hood Panel information for meetings and events

●       Manage the event calendar

●       Help get materials ready for trade shows/events/holiday promotions

●       Send out magazines to clients

●       Help make sure each issue is ready for print and digital

●       Update all social media platforms and website with information from marketing plan

●       Create, manage and cross-promote online contests to increase readership, viewership and interaction

●       Pull monthly reports for social media, websites, and issuu for team meetings


●       Strong interest in community, family and children

●       Great written and verbal communication skills

●       Strong work ethic and accountability

●       Very organized & detail oriented

●       Familiar with dropbox, google docs, and asana

●       Adaptable to changing circumstances

●       Independent worker who is able to focus on the task at hand

●       Enjoys having a flexible work schedule, will need to be in the office part of the time


●       Past office management experience preferred

●       20-hour work week: includes attending weekly team meetings

●       Excellent communication skills

●       Time management skills

●       Self-Starter inspired to perform without outside help

●       $15-$17/hour depending on experience and quality of work
