Halloween will be here before we know it. If you haven’t started planning, it’s not too late! Here are some tips to help you get started and make sure your little ones have a great time!

Décor. You don’t have to go overboard. Small touches can make a big impact and your kids will love it! You can do something as simple as getting inexpensive spider web material and stretching it out across your entryway to create a fun effect. You can find very inexpensive Halloween décor and place it throughout your home. Fireplaces are a great place to decorate and place small décor items.

Costumes. You don’t have to spend a lot to get a fun costumer your kids will love. Check out local thrift stores, or come up with something on your own using items you already have.

Pumpkins. Kids love carving pumpkins! There are many free carving templates online. Kids can do a traditional pumpkin, or download a character of their choice.

Treats! Don’t forget about treats and try to be healthy when you can. Check out these banana ghosts and mandarin pumpkins that are sure to be a huge hit and give your kids a much needed break from all that sugar!

Have a safe and Happy Halloween!
