Your loved ones will appreciate your creativity and extra thought with this homemade card! This is so easy and enjoyable to make. This would be great for kids to create as well. Kids will have fun picking their color choices. I know I did!
Supplies
Glue
Double sided tape
Ruler
Scissors
Pencil
4 different patterns of green - tree
Red paper - background
Brown paper – trunk
Glitter
Envelope
When getting started, make sure you have the envelope you will be using for your card. I used 4 3/8in. x 5 3/4in. invitation envelope. I then cut my background paper to 8 ¼ x 5 ½ and folded it in half.
Cut 4 triangles x-small, small, medium and large to fit on the front of your card. Snip the tops off of your three largest triangles and use double sided tape to attach to card. Place a dot of glue on top for a glittery decoration and don’t forget a brown square for your trunk.
Suggestion: If you love the front of this card or any other greeting card you received try putting it in a picture frame for a cute decorative piece in your home.
