Chocolate Gravy

  • 7 heaping tbsp cocoa
  • 6 heaping tbsp flour
  • 4 c sugar
  • 6 c milk
  • 1 stick of butter
  • 3 tsp vanilla
  • 2 cans of biscuits



In a large heavy pan, mix cocoa, flour and sugar. Add milk and stir constantly over medium low heat. Note: You must stir this constantly. Do not let it sit. Cook until thickened. Should have consistency of regular gravy.

Add stick of butter and the vanilla after it has thickened. Stir until butter is melted.

Remove from stove. Bake biscuits per the directions on the package. Serve chocolate gravy over hot biscuits.
