Halloween Extravaganza

Oct. 23-25 – ZooBoo Every year, the Zoo thrills kids and adults alike with ZooBoo, a three-night Halloween extravaganza. Over the course of those three nights, 10,000 kids will wind their way through the decorated exhibits and walkways in the Zoo collecting candy and trinkets at a variety of treat tents from costumed presenters. Along the way, visitors dressed as their favorite superheroes or movie characters will pass by the Extinct Species Graveyard and see the markers for animals like the Dodo Bird and Caspian Tiger. Other highlights include the Creepy Carrousel and the “Hall of Flames,” which features over 300 hand-carved and lit Jack-o’-lanterns. Time: Friday, October 23 – 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Saturday, October 24 – 3:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday, October 25 – 3:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Cost: $5 for Zoo members; $6 for non-members
