Animal Enrichment Day
Great Plains Zoo and Delbridge Museum of Natural History
This event allows the public to see some of the special work that often goes on behind-the-scenes at the Zoo. This is an opportunity to witness the unique work of the Zoo’s Animal Care Staff as well as a chance to see the animals at play. Zoo-goers see the Giant Anteater swirl his 18-inch tongue around a tube filled with honey, or a Cheetah stalk a cardboard Gazelle filled with treat meat. This event is free with paid Zoo admission.
