A Sprinkle Doughnut April Fools'

04/01/2017 07:31PM ● By Digital Media Director
In honor of the day, we fooled the kids into these fun 'sprinkle doughnuts'.

The look on their face was priceless when they found out they were actually apples and fruit dip! Although there was some initial disappointment when they realized their afternoon snack wasn't truly sugar packed, it quickly went away then they realized these were actually really good and really fun to make. Be sure to get the kids involved to help frost and decorate!

Sprinkle Doughnut Apple Slices

Slice apple and core the center to create your 'doughnut'.
Spread fruit dip over the top for your frosting. Fruit dip recipe below.
Top your 'doughnut' with sprinkle.

Fruit Dip
1 pkg. of cream cheese - room temperature
1 8oz. container of whipped cream
1 7oz. jar of marshmallow cream
Combine all ingredients and mix well. Use food coloring to create all different colors, perfect for the 'frosting' of our 'sprinkle doughnuts'!
