Family Gets Fit: Grocery Shopping

We had a wonderful time shopping for groceries and learning more about the Better Body System nutrition plan with Jessica from Koko FitClub. The meal plan is very manageable. Days 1,2,4 and 6 are protein days. You have two protein shakes plus three servings of protein choices such as nuts, eggs, Greek yogurt, cottage cheese, string cheese, tuna or lean meats. Days 3, 5 and 7 are meal days. You still have two protein shakes, but you have a lunch with a complex carb, protein, fruits and vegetables, plus snacks. This plan really teaches your body to burn fat and function at its maximum potential!
As we shopped, we were encouraged to learn that we could still enjoy a good variety of our favorite foods. We're excited to try tuna mixed with avocado, baked sweet potatoes and steamed asparagus. Best of all, we got a week's worth of meals for two people for under $60! This really feels like a plan that's going to work for us!
